Unpredictable Birthday Surprise

This story happened when I was in junior high school, in year.9 for sure.  At that time I was preparing myself to face the National Examination. In my school, that was the tutoring for year.9 students to help them prepare themselves for National Examination.  The tutoring program start from 6.am before the school began on 8.am. I was the famous student in my school at that time, not because my achievement or something liked that but because I was the student who always came late at school especially in join the tutoring program. Almost every day I always came late. Until one day, I was waking up at 6.30 am, which was over 30 minutes from the tutoring time. I was shocking and quickly getting ready for school.  I was so worrying if I can’t join the tutoring program at that day because that was the time for physics subject and the teacher was so grumpy.

I was running so fast to go to my classroom when I entering the school. I didn’t care about anything near me except the road. Finally, I arrived at the classroom. But, there was no one in my class even the teacher. It was impossible if they were coming late because I was the one who really late for coming school at that time. I scared. I think that they were already going somewhere liked physics laboratory or making the physics experience out of the school or class and I missed it. I scared because the teacher will really angry with me. Suddenly I cried. But, I didn’t realize what exactly happened. When I was crying, suddenly my friends and my teacher coming to the room bring the cake and sing happy birthday for me. Yes, that was actually my birthday but I didn’t realize.

That was so unpredictable birthday surprise for me and I loved it so much. After that, slowly but sure I was never coming late again to school and not being famous by my “came late” image anymore.
